Job summary

The position requires a Master’s Degree in Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA eligible) and current SC RN-Advanced Practice/CRNA licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia.
• CRNA eligibility or equivalent acceptable.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Formulates anesthetic plan with anesthesiologist and discusses risks with the patient.
• Performs line placement procedures within guidelines.
• Documents pre-anesthesia assessment and intraoperative data, charges and waste.
• Maintains age-specific anesthesia skills including airway management and induction.
• Maintains knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology and modalities.
• Provides a safe practice environment to minimize infection, injury, and equipment failure.
• Performs Point of Care testing as required.
