Prisma Health is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases at the Oconee Medical Campus in Seneca, SC. The role involves collaboration with perioperative team and potential in-house or on-call duties.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia with SC RN Advanced Practice credentials; CRNA status is preferred. No prior experience is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia required.
• SC RN- Advanced Practice licensure required; CRNA status preferred or eligible.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Formulates anesthetic plan with anesthesiologist and discusses risks with patient.
• Performs line placement procedures within guidelines (IV/arterial lines).
• Documents pre-anesthesia assessments and intraoperative care, including vital signs and drug deliveries.
• Maintains age-specific anesthesia competencies (airway management, induction, blocks, general anesthesia).
• Keeps up-to-date on anesthesia pharmacology, modalities, techniques, and technology.
• Maintains a safe practice environment by minimizing infection risk and equipment failures.
• Performs Point of Care testing as required by policy.
