• Performs line placement procedures including IV and arterial access within guidelines.
• Documents pre-anesthesia assessments and intraoperative care, including vitals, drugs, fluids, and events.
• Maintains age-specific competence in anesthesia skills such as airway management and induction.
• Maintains knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology and new drugs and techniques.
• Ensures a safe practice environment by minimizing infection risk and equipment failure.
• Performs Point of Care testing as required by policy.
