Job summary

You will collaborate with Corporate College staff to meet client objectives across multiple sites in the Houston area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8 years experience may be considered in lieu of required degree.
• Certification in construction trades preferred (e.g., NCCER).
• 3 years subject-related industry experience required.
• Experience in community college, university teaching, or corporate training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trades training to corporate clients on an on-call basis.
• Assess training needs with Corporate College staff.
• Customize training content and format to fit client objectives.
• Deliver training using relevant materials such as texts, handouts, class exercises or assessment tools.
• Continue to update and revise course content and teaching methodology to maintain currency.
• Maintain familiarity with current texts, materials, teaching aids and techniques and recommend adoption when appropriate.
• Actively seek ways to improve instruction.
• Attend scheduled meetings with client and Corporate College as requested including Orientation.
• Maintain accurate records of class schedules, student rosters, attendance and grade rosters.
