Job summary

Houston City College is seeking a Part-Time Corporate Trainer Level 3 to deliver soft-skill training to corporate clients on an on-call basis, focusing on leadership, management, supervisory, and customer service, with content tailored to client objectives.

Responsibilities include assessing client needs with Corporate College staff, customizing content, delivering 1–3 day classroom sessions, updating materials, attending client meetings, and maintaining records of schedules, rosters, attendance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a specialized area.
• 3+ certifications and/or licenses related to disciplines.
• Transcript confirming degree and certifications must accompany application.
• 9 years of corporate training / related experience required.
• 7 years higher education teaching or corporate training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and consulting to corporate clients as needed.
• Assess client training needs with Corporate College staff.
• Customize training content and format to client objectives.
• Deliver soft-skill instruction in leadership, supervisory and HR topics.
• Conduct 1-day to 3-day classroom sessions with relevant materials.
• Update course content and teaching methods to stay current.
• Maintain familiarity with texts, materials and techniques.
• Seek ways to improve instruction and outcomes.
• Attend client and Corporate College meetings as requested.
• Maintain class schedules, rosters, attendance and grade records.
