Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in food production and knowledge of therapeutic diets is required.
• Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
• High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Applicant must be finger printed and receive clearance from Criminal Justice Department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meals to clients according to menus and dietary requirements.
• Supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor and ensure equipment, storage and sanitation standards are maintained.
• Review menus and work orders to determine meal types and quantities; manage food delivery and minimize waste.
