Job summary

Medford Wellington Service Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced field service technician in the Boston area to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a broad spectrum of commercial gas, electric, and steam equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and reading electrical schematics and blueprints. On-call rotation and strong communication with customers are required; familiarity with smart devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot
• Perform preventative maintenance

• Read/interpret blueprints
• Participate on an on-call rotation for emergency service
• Well versed with smart devices (e.g. Android phone and tablet) is a plus
• Relies on direction from management and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and the ability to work and communicate with peers and customers
• Work on call per schedule
