Job summary

Ace Service Company in Needham, MA is seeking an experienced commercial kitchen technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hot-side cooking equipment in commercial kitchens. You will handle field service calls, work independently, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations while delivering professional service.

Qualified candidates have hands-on experience with fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, and related equipment, plus strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and troubleshooting commercial cooking equipment in the field.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and join on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment including fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, and more.
• Manage service calls independently from diagnosis through completion.
• Deliver professional, high-quality service to commercial customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, managers, and internal teams.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.
• Identify additional service or repair opportunities onsite.
• Maintain service vehicle and parts inventory.
• Complete required documentation and attend training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
