Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma
• Non-violent Crisis Prevention (CPI) training preferred
• Ability to work well with adults and students and take direction from numerous supervisors
• Possess good communication skills, both oral and written
• Must be physically fit to perform required job tasks, including but not limited to physical management of inappropriate behavior

Responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction by assisting the teacher with lessons, activities, and student supervision.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed.
• Assist with student needs including academic support, behavior guidance, and personal care when necessary
