Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires the equivalent of a high school diploma or proof of enrollment in High School.
• Preferred applicants have experience working with students in a classroom or equivalent environment.
• Incumbents assigned to infant and pre-school environments will be required to complete 30 credit hours Basics of Child Care and HIV/Blood borne pathogens, Safe Sleep, and Food Handlers.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervised direct care to infant-to-preschool aged children in a center-based program.
• Assists with age-appropriate development exercises and activities.
• Supports parents with occasional parenting education.
• Follows instructions from the ECE Site Supervisor and maintains a safe, clean environment.
