Job summary

Fogelman is hiring a certified Maintenance Technician for Arlo, located in the Little Rock area, to perform maintenance service requests and repairs with a focus on customer service for residents.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and a broad skill set in plumbing, electrical and appliance repair. A valid driver's license may be required and the role includes on-call duties and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Three years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• Depending on the property, a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all service requests as assigned.
• Complete all make-ready units.
• Care for, maintain, and inventory all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company.
• Supply personal tools as required.
• Maintain clean work area, tools and equipment.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors, and coworkers.
• Follow safety policies at all times.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including safety and Fair Housing.
