Job summary

Hyatt Place Hyatt House Tampa Downtown is seeking an on-call Bartender for part-time shifts in a fast-paced downtown hotel bar. You will craft cocktails and other beverages, greet guests, and ensure accurate orders and payments.

The role requires at least 1 year of bartending or high-volume experience, a high school diploma, and knowledge of drink recipes, mixers, and POS systems. Certification is preferred; must uphold responsible alcohol service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bartending certification preferred where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, restock liquor and supplies.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties; report maintenance needs.
