Job summary

Sanctuary Recovery Centers Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Pool Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support clients’ recovery in a residential setting. This part-time/on-call role offers flexible hours and last-minute shift coverage to help maintain continuous care.

The Pool BHT provides direct care, assists with activities, manages medications, monitors progress, and responds to emergencies. The position emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in behavioral health preferred.
• Previous experience in behavioral health or residential treatment is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to clients in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities, including meals, medication administration, and recreational activities.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and behaviors.
• Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
