Job summary

Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital in Phoenix seeks a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our care team for night shifts. The BHT provides continuous patient care, supervision and modeling under the direction of a Registered Nurse to support treatment plans.

The role emphasizes observation, early intervention and adherence to safety policies within a 102-bed inpatient psychiatric setting, serving adolescents, adults and seniors. Excellent team culture is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a behavioral health care setting.
• High School Diploma or GED with related education/work experience totaling 4 years.
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure.
• Assist with visitation in the evenings.
• Observe and document changes in a patient’s appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
