Aloft Tampa Downtown, operated by HEI Hotels and Resorts, is seeking a Barback to assist the Bartender and ensure a positive guest experience. You will fetch orders, prep garnishes, maintain bar supplies, and uphold cleanliness in line with health codes.

Ideal candidates have hotel experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 150 lbs. This on-site role offers benefits and opportunities within a dynamic hospitality team in downtown Tampa.

Qualificações

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Good guest communication required.
• Basic math to ensure portions and delivery amounts.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle glassware, knives, ice, and stock.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs. and work in temperature-controlled areas.
• Ability to follow product labeling and safety instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieves orders from storeroom and verifies against requisitions.
• Prepares garnishes and pours juices according to business needs.
• Maintains bar supplies (stir sticks, napkins, etc.).
• Keeps bar and storage areas clean to health code standards.
• Scoops ice and replenishes ice containers for service areas.
• Transports bottles and kegs and assists with keg maintenance.
• Assists bartenders and is available for regular shifts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
