Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks a Banquet Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service, knowledge of wines and spirits, and accurate cash handling. The role involves guest engagement, order accuracy, and maintaining standards in a luxury setting.

You will work with a team to prepare drinks, manage inventory, and ensure seamless service while delivering a superior guest experience. A high school education or equivalent and at least two years of bartending experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wines, spirits, and mixed drinks following Four Seasons standards.
• Confirm guest orders and check against original order in POS system.
• Describe items and origins to guests while maintaining product knowledge.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to concerns promptly.
• Close guest checks and process payments accurately.
• Follow Four Seasons Conduct Standards and collaborate with team.
• Assist with bar inventory and garnishments.

About the role

Basic Purpose: The Banquet Bartender will serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits, and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.

What you will do

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Serve food items in the bar area. Assist with bar inventory. Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments.
