Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Server to assist the Banquet Manager in delivering positive guest experiences during banquet functions at our Houston property. The role supports setup, service, and cleanup to ensure high standards of hospitality.

Candidates should have hotel or banquet experience, be a team player, and uphold service etiquette. The position emphasizes flexibility to work events and adhere to state and corporate guidelines throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to "pitch-in" and be a team player.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed, including linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages as ordered and maintain consistency throughout the banquet.
• Reset banquet room for the next function and ensure readiness for following events.
