Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking an on-call Banquet Server to support weddings, corporate events, and other gatherings. You will ensure flawless service, set up rooms per BEOs, and collaborate with the banquet and culinary teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Excellent communication, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. This role offers gratuities in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to carry heavy trays, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and friendly service at banquet events.
• Set up banquet rooms and tables per BEOs.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and grooming.
• Assist with buffet setups, plated service, and action stations as needed.
• Clear tables and reset spaces to keep event areas clean.
• Collaborate with banquet and culinary teams for smooth events.
• Follow food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Support post-event breakdown and equipment storage.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with laws.
