Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking enthusiastic On-Call Banquet Servers to join the Food & Beverage team. You will provide exceptional service during meetings, banquets, weddings, and events, with a focus on guest experience and teamwork at Crescent properties in the United States.

This on-call role offers shifts based on event levels, with mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays required as business needs demand. Related training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow Banquet Event Orders and detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event details to understand service expectations.
• Assist with setup of banquet and meeting spaces (tables, chairs, linens, glassware, etc.).
• Greet guests in a warm, professional manner.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and event requirements.
• Refill beverages and anticipate guest needs.
• Clear service items during and after functions.
• Maintain clean, stocked service areas.
• Coordinate with Banquet Leadership and Culinary teams for seamless events.
• Assist with event breakdown and room resets.
• Follow hotel standards, sanitation and responsible alcohol service requirements.
