Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an On Call Banquet Server for Houston Grand Hotel - River Oaks. You will assist in banquet service, set up and break down spaces, greet guests, and maintain service standards throughout events.

Prior hotel or banquet experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to learn and recall menu items and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware, and glassware as instructed.
• Greet guests, respond to requests, and serve food/beverage per supervisor directions.
• Replenish beverages and reset room for next function.
• Adhere to state, federal, and corporate alcohol-service requirements.
