Job summary

The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking a Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage team in Houston. You will be responsible for serving banquets and related food and beverage services, upholding our luxury standards, and maintaining discretion and professionalism in all interactions with guests.

Responsibilities include delivering food and beverage with proper presentation, coordinating with team members, handling equipment and linens, and adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school education is preferred but not required.
• Previous banquet environment experience is helpful.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Hours vary based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
• Maintain presentation and temperature of served items.
• Transport and organize banquet equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure smooth events.
• Adhere to sanitation procedures, safety guidelines, and energy-efficient opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure storerooms are clean, organized and secured.
• Communicate guest requests or issues promptly to supervisors.
