Inn at Perry Cabin in Maryland is seeking an On Call Banquet Server to support our events team. This role offers $4.25 per hour plus tip credits and requires delivering exceptional guest service in a luxury setting.

You will maintain knowledge of the menu and wine list, coordinate with the kitchen and dining staff, and help ensure smooth, memorable banquets while upholding our standards of hygiene and professionalism. Flexibility with shifts is essential; a HS diploma or GED is preferred.

Position Summary – $4.25 + Tip credits

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain general knowledge of the menu, wine list, and all hotel facilities and services to respond to guest inquiries.
• Provide the highest quality of food, beverage, atmosphere, and service.
• Quickly address, resolve, and report any complaints or negative situations so guests leave with a positive overall experience.
• Complete side work promptly in accordance with standards.
• Promote and maintain strong communication and teamwork between the dining room, kitchen, and other departments.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance in accordance with Dress Code Standards for uniformed associates.
• Assist other associates with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.
• Perform all job functions, special projects, and tasks as assigned.

Physical & Mental Requirements

• Regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk, talk and hear; frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel; frequently required to reach with hands and arms above head; frequently required to sit, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to handle glasses, plates, silverware, etc. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds and push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of 150 pounds.

Work Environment

• Entirety of property – exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity and/or steam, moisture; extremes of heat and cold, noise, grease, cleaning and polishing agents; potentially slippery floors; and other environmental exposures.
• The work environment may involve varying conditions and circumstances with guests, staff, visitors, government agencies, etc.
