Location Overview: The Banquet Server is responsible for setting up and serving food and beverages at banquet functions according to hotel standards.

Responsibilities

1. Perform preparatory tasks and side work to ensure prompt and efficient service.
2. Read the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and familiarize with the menu for each function.
3. Serve guests courteously and professionally according to hotel standards.
4. Respond to guest issues and communicate with management as needed.
5. Set tables per hotel standards.
6. Maintain a neat banquet storeroom stocked with necessary supplies.
7. Clean and reset banquet spaces after functions, storing and restocking equipment and supplies.
8. Prepare rooms according to BEO and meal functions.
9. Follow money handling procedures during service.
10. Know menu items and provide accurate descriptions.
11. Ensure guest satisfaction.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred; hotel or related experience is a plus.
2. Ability to work flexible hours, including long shifts.
3. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
4. Stand for entire shift.
