Job Overview

Under supervision, provides prompt and courteous food service to guests. Responsible for setup, service, and breakdown of functions in a safe, accident-free manner.

Responsibilities

• Read BEOs and complete setups accordingly
• Set tables correctly and uniformly
• Maintain a clean and organized station while serving guests
• Properly clear in-room and buffet tables and equipment
• Assist in setting up and breaking down buffet and other food service tables
• Greet and serve guests following established policies
• Follow all check and money-handling procedures for food and beverage service
• Complete assigned sidework
• Remain attentive to guests throughout the dining experience
• Work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Local travel for outside catering only

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3 months in a similar role

Knowledge/Skills: Basic customer service principles, food service, and restaurant operations

Physical Demands

Must meet physical requirements, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and maneuvering in tight spaces. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

• Lifting trays, dish racks, etc., 20-40 lbs; pushing carts, 50-100 lbs
• Carrying trays, 20-40 lbs
• Ability to grasp, balance, and carry trays
• Bending to lower cabinets and lifting trays
• Mobility in narrow areas
• Continuous standing required
• Climbing approximately 12 steps, about 20% of the shift

Indoor environment with prolonged standing, walking, lifting. Cold temperatures in freezer areas (-10°F).
