Job summary

Hyatt Regency Buffalo is seeking a part-time guest services associate to deliver friendly, efficient service in a busy hotel environment. Located in downtown Buffalo, this role involves helping with events, setting up tables and buffets, and ensuring guest satisfaction while working a flexible schedule.

You will assist kitchen and bar teams, prepare beverages, and maintain high quality service throughout functions.

Qualifications

What you will be doing

• Review BEO's for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio visual needs.
• Assist the set up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up, etc.
• Check quality and presentation of food before serving.
• Prepare and serve beverages for the function.
• Provide prompt and professional service to all guests.
• Communicate with Kitchen keeping update on any changes.

Hourly Pay: $10.70

• Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
• Ability to work in a standard office environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
• Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
