Job summary

Hyatt Regency Buffalo is seeking a friendly restaurant service associate to warmly greet guests, take drink and food orders, and help ensure timely, accurate service in a fast-paced dining room.

Responsibilities include presenting specials, maintaining a clean dining area, upselling, coordinating with kitchen staff, and delivering a high-quality guest experience. Flexible nights/weekends required; full-time, on-site role in Buffalo.

What you will be doing

• Greet customers promptly upon taking a seat in the restaurant.
• Share any specials or make recommendations from the menu for the customer.
• Secure drink orders and take food orders in an efficient manner.
• Inspect food for accuracy and presentation prior to delivery.
• Maintain a clean table and assist with any refills or requests as needed.
• Complete all side station work and maintain a clean safe environment.

Hourly Pay: $12.50

• Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
• Ability to work in a standard office environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
• Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
• Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
