Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection is seeking an on-call Banquet Bartender for Mount Rushmore National Memorial. You will mix cocktails, pour drafts, and decant wine for banquets, delivering excellent guest service. Must be 21+, with strong bartending experience and TIPS certification.

The role requires flexibility for on-call scheduling, adherence to alcohol policies, and maintaining a clean, efficient service area. Training on menu knowledge and upselling is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Previous bartending experience strongly preferred.
• TIPS alcohol awareness certification required; workshops provided if not certified.
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize under pressure.
• Effective communication with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Ability to learn quickly: service procedures, beverage and food menus.
• Knowledge of beverage brands, selections and recipes helpful.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by preparing cocktails, pouring drafts, and serving wine at banquets.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Record and process beverage orders and payments accurately.
• Upsell and promote wine sales and menu items.
• Maintain clean, organized service areas and proper stocking.
