Job summary

Mount Rushmore National Memorial’s Food & Beverage team is hiring an On-Call Banquet Bartender. You’ll mix cocktails, pour drafts and wine during banquets, delivering guest-focused service in an iconic setting.

This on-call/intermittent role pays $16.25 per hour, eligible for a portion of the service charge. Dates: November 2026. Schedule as needed; no employee housing provided. Must be 21+, with TIPS certification and bartending experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• TIPS certification required.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by mixing quality cocktails and pouring drinks for banquets.
• Record and enter beverage items; serve promptly and process payments.
• Maximize sales using menu knowledge and up-selling techniques.
• Maintain beverage service standards and comply with policies and laws.
• Keep service areas clean, organized and stocked.
• Follow all policies and procedures and assist as needed.
