Job summary

Makeready LLC seeks an on-call Banquet Bartender to provide warm, polished service at weddings, conferences, and other events in our Denver-area venues. You will craft cocktails, pour wine and beer, and collaborate with culinary and service teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.

The role favors those with prior banquet or hotel bar experience, strong knowledge of beverages, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, Banquet, hotel, or upscale hospitality environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, and brunch beverages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
• Provide warm, attentive, and engaging service to guests at the bar and within the dining space.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, coffee, and brunch beverage offerings.
• Anticipate guest needs and create personalized experiences through thoughtful hospitality.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards of the bar and surrounding service areas.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws.
• Assist with inventory organization, stocking, garnish preparation, and daily side work duties.
• Collaborate closely with culinary and service teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
