Job summary

White Lodging Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Banquet Bartender for on-call events ranging from corporate happy hours to large weddings.

You’ll work with our banquet team to set up, serve, and tear down bars, while delivering friendly, professional hospitality and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, sociable personality with guest-first mindset.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude essential for event service.
• Knowledge of various food-service styles and service etiquette.
• Previous banquet or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and move for long periods and lift items as needed.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Set up, serve, clean up, and tear down banquet bars.
• Serve food and beverages tableside, butler-style, and from buffets.
• Assist team to deliver a memorable event exceeding guest expectations.
• Maintain a neat, professional hotel appearance and demeanor.
• Anticipate guest needs with exemplary hospitality and courtesy.
• Know menu items, contents, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Perform opening and closing duties and other assigned tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for the successful set-up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet bars.
• Professionally serve food and beverages butler-style, tableside, and from buffets.
• Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a phenomenal event that exceeds guest expectations.
• Be an ambassador of the hotel by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality while always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer any guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
