Job summary
Omnicell, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH seeks a PRN Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 to support XR2 or IVX automation at a hospital site. This on-call role covers call-outs, PTO, LOAs, and peak operations to keep medication automation safe and efficient.
Excellent for gaining advanced automation skills with potential future opportunities. You will maintain inventory, perform inspections, and ensure compliance while collaborating with pharmacy leadership and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Active OH license/registration as a Pharmacy Technician and national certification (PTCB/CPhT/EXCPT).
- 2+ years of hospital pharmacy automation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate and support XR2 or IVX automation per SOPs.
- Manage medication inventory, restocking, returns, and formulary accuracy.
- Perform equipment inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues to TAC.
- Maintain documentation and policy compliance.
- Communicate with leadership and customers to resolve issues.
