Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group in the United States seeks an Athletic Trainer/Therapist to support Cirque's high-performance artists. Based in Florida, this on-call role covers rehabilitation, injury prevention, and medical care under PMED governance.

Reporting to the Artistic Director and PMED leadership, you will collaborate with coaches, manage emergencies, document care, and help maintain optimal performance while adapting to a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Athletic Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Physiotherapy and Florida licensure.
• CPR/AED certification valid; EMR/First Responder preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' musculoskeletal clinical experience.
• Fluent English; French/Spanish an asset.
• Experience with performing artists or high-performance teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical care, prevention and rehabilitation to Cirque artists at high standard.
• Provide emergency response and lead first aid when required.
• Maintain CdS First aid/Trauma cert; comply with medico-legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Coaches and PMED to reduce injury risk and support performance.
• Document all medical information and communicate with Head Therapist and PMED Manager.
