Job summary

Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is seeking On-Call Archaeological Field Technicians in Nevada to support field projects. You will monitor construction activities, identify archaeological resources, and coordinate with construction personnel on active sites.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in archaeology/anthropology/paleontology/geology, and are willing to travel and work outdoors in varied conditions. Some night/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in archaeology/anthropology/paleontology/geology or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to use app-based software for field recordation and mapping.
• Open to travel for projects; mileage and travel reimbursements provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities and identify archaeological/paleontological resources.
• Effectively communicate with construction crews and project personnel.
• Write and maintain daily survey, monitoring, recordation, and cataloging logs using electronic data collection tools and GIS.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
