Fogelman is seeking an Experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for Appling Lakes Apartments in the Cordova area of Memphis. The role involves performing maintenance requests and repairs with a focus on resident satisfaction, while joining a supportive team at a company with 63+ years of experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and skills in plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification Type 1 & 2 or Universal.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in computers and online applications.
• Knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs for buildings and grounds.
• Complete make-ready units and ensure quality work.
• Care for supplies and equipment inventory.
• Provide personal tools and maintain clean work area.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Respond to emergency calls during on-call rotation.
• Maintain positive communication with residents, vendors, and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety policies and Fair Housing.
