BMI Development Company in Rialto, CA is seeking a capable Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of upkeep tasks across properties. You will handle plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and grounds maintenance while coordinating with the Maintenance Manager to respond to work orders promptly.

Ideal candidates are physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, work autonomously, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

Experience in general maintenance work preferred.
Ability to read and follow safety procedures.
Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

Respond to and coordinate maintenance work orders promptly.
Perform plumbing tasks: replace faucets, snake drains, install valves, replace stops, repair toilets, and related tasks.
Carry out carpentry: hang windows/doors, repair hinges, replace locks, and mouldings.
Paint and repair walls to match finishes, patching and painting as needed.
Control and manage inventory; conduct unit inspections; assist with after-hours emergencies.
Maintain grounds, clean common areas, and assist with renovations/remodeling of buildings.
Report issues to Maintenance Manager and assist with preventative maintenance plans.
