Job summary
Right At School in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking an Educator to lead after-school activities, support homework, and supervise a safe, structured environment from 3:15 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This part-time, on-site role offers meaningful child-focused work at local schools and opportunities to gain experience in education and youth development.
Starting pay is $15 per hour, with pay depending on experience and education.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; must be 18+.
- Six months of childcare experience in a licensed setting; verifiable.
- Live within the listed school district area; fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in students; take attendance and maintain records.
- Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons for the age group.
- Facilitate homework time and assist with academic tasks.
- Supervise during free play, snack, and transitions; ensure safety.
- Address minor conflicts using positive guidance.
- Communicate with parents at pick-up/drop-off.
- Log incidents and safety concerns to supervisor; attend brief daily team meetings.
