Right At School is hiring an Educator in the Duncanville area, providing after-school care and enrichment at local schools. You will lead activities, supervise students, assist with homework, and maintain a safe, structured environment.

The role requires English fluency, semi-annual childcare experience in a licensed setting, and a reliable part-time schedule from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Starting pay is $15/hour with experience-based variations.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience with children in a licensed setting.
• Comfortable leading groups of children in activities.
• Excellent customer service and communication with children and adults.
• Reliable and punctual with a consistent part-time schedule.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel as needed.
• Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students and take attendance.
• Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons.
• Support homework time and academic tasks as needed.
• Supervise students during free play, snack time, and transitions.
• Address minor conflicts with positive guidance techniques.
• Communicate with parents at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child's day.
• Log incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to the Program Manager.
• Set up and clean up program space and materials daily.
• Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with other staff.
