Ascent Global Logistics in Belleville, MI, seeks an OBC Operations agent to handle day-to-day tasks for the On-Board Courier product, including answering emails, building Peak shipments, quoting loads, and tracking runs. You’ll coordinate with the MX team and maintain high attention to detail and customer service.

You’ll work in a hybrid model with 4 days on-site and 1 flex, Tuesday-Saturday 0800-1600 or Wednesday-Saturday 0800-1800, supporting efficient expedited logistics operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra/geometry.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management.
• Ability to work quickly with time-sensitive tasks and stay calm under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Answer emails in a timely fashion and build Peak shipments.
• Quote loads and track running shipments for the OBC program.
• Communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional MX team.
• Maintain timelines and compliance with company procedures.
• Provide quality customer service tailored to each customer’s needs.
