Job summary

Naval Air Station Lemoore, in collaboration with NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM), seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support the local HR office and advise managers and associates. The role covers recruiting, benefits questions, payroll inquiries, onboarding, policy interpretation, and HR data reporting.

Qualifications

• 3 years of responsible experience in non-routine work and a good general understanding of administrative systems.
• Ability to analyze problems and communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Experience with HR data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruiting strategies and partner with local agencies to fill opportunities.
• Maintain official HR records with privacy and confidentiality.
• Assist associates with HR questions on benefits, payroll, development, and other topics.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and interpretation of HR policies with District HR.
• Provide guidance to managers on employee relations and grievances.
• Utilize PeopleSoft (PS) HR database and Taleo (recruitment platform).
