Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Omaha is seeking a Project Manager who will specialize in doors, frames, and hardware for the commercial construction industry.

You will plan, coordinate, and direct projects from initiation to close, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget while leading cross-functional teams and interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least two years of project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of two years of experience managing projects and budgets; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Must have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficient with Windows-based programs, ERP/CRM systems, possess a good understanding/use of Excel and highly prefer experience with construction software such as Procore.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project.
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, scope of authority and provide technical advice/troubleshooting.
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
