Job summary

LA28 seeks a senior operations lead to deliver training venues for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. You will drive venue planning, collaborate with Sport Managers on design, and help build the venue structure, including headcount, roles, and hiring.

Based in a Downtown Los Angeles office, you will develop policies and tools for delivery, coordinate across venues, and adapt to evolving requirements as Games approach. Domestic and international travel are expected; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership delivering national and international sporting events.
• Extensive operations knowledge across professional leagues, federations, universities, and grassroots sport.
• Understanding of sport venue delivery at international and national levels, including IF, IOC, and IPC requirements.
• Experience recruiting, training, and leading a large, diverse workforce for event delivery.
• Valid passport for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive planning for assigned training venues, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.
• Liaise with Sport Managers on venue development and layouts.
• Help develop the overall training venue structure, including headcount, job descriptions, management structure, and hiring.
• Develop policies, procedures, and operational documents for planning and delivery.
• Manage operations and communication across multiple functions and venues in line with plans.
• May include additional duties during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
