Job summary

LA28 seeks an experienced Event and Venue General Manager to lead operations for Olympic-style venues in the Oklahoma City area. You will oversee integrated planning, cross-functional delivery, and venue readiness, coordinating with Team OKC and external partners to ensure high-quality event experiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading venue, event, or operations delivery for major, complex live events.
• Ability to build, develop and lead large cross-functional teams to fixed deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management across a live venue environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop, optimize, and deliver venue-based Event Operations plans.
• Lead the Team OKC venue team to achieve objectives and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with venue partner and stakeholders; act as day-to-day venue leadership contact.
• Coordinate with venue owners and authorities to manage the Venue Use Agreement and compliance.
• Prepare and deliver reports on venue status to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Manage venue operations with athletes, workforce, spectators, partners, and media.
• Lead functional areas to create the Event Operations Plan and related tools.
• Champion LA28 values and behaviors across engagement, planning and delivery.
