Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a lab technician to support oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, and quality control in a fast-paced biotechnology environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work with automated and manual lab equipment. Candidates should have an Associate degree (or equivalent) and a science background; multiple platforms experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate s (2 year) degree or comparable combination of education and experience required
• Bachelor s (4 year) degree in a science related field preferred
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required

Responsibilities

• Synthesize custom oligonucleotides on various platforms
• Purify oligos using ion-exchange and reverse phase methods
• Measure quality using optical density, mass spectrometry, and capillary electrophoresis
• Quantifies and samples oligos for quality control tests
• Assess QC data and assign pass/fail dispositions
• Sort oligos for the proper purification method using software
• Troubleshoot oligo failures and make purification decisions
• Follow and record process steps accurately
• Demonstrate core values in all tasks
