Wave Life Sciences is seeking a highly motivated co‑op student in Lexington, MA to gain exposure to oligonucleotide synthesis, formulation, purification and analysis. Training will cover multiple lab techniques and instrumentation, preparing you for future industry or academia opportunities.

This position emphasizes organization, attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced biotech environment, with coursework in organic/biochemistry/analytical chemistry preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform downstream processing of oligonucleotides synthesized at various scales using purification modalities (AEX chromatography, SEC).
• Learn AKTA Unicorn software to assist in developing new methods/gradients.
• Characterize compounds using analytical instrumentation (UV, pH, UPLC, LC-MS).
• Operate and maintain lab equipment (synthesizers, ÄKTA purifiers, UPLC, LC-MS, Nanodrop).
• Maintain timely written and electronic records of protocols and data per company policy.
• Potential to learn synthesis of oligonucleotides on MM12, MM192, and AKTA synthesis systems if timing allows.
