Atalanta Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Scientist II to join the Chemistry team to support the discovery, synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemically modified oligonucleotides for research and drug development. The Associate Scientist will work on projects using state-of-the-art synthesis and analytical instrumentation in a cutting-edge laboratory environment.

• Degree in chemistry with relevant experience
• Experience with oligonucleotide synthesis equipment required
• Hands-on with HPLC and LC-MS
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Commitment to scientific integrity and lab excellence

Responsabilidades

• Operate automated oligonucleotide synthesizers to produce high-quality oligonucleotides
• Develop and optimize synthesis, deprotection, purification, and analytical methods
• Use HPLC and LC-MS for purification and analysis and aid in instrument maintenance
• Quantify and characterize oligonucleotides for in vitro and in vivo studies
• Coordinate production to support research timelines
• Maintain accurate records and inventory documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic lab
