Job summary

bioMerieux is seeking a Lab Technologist in Utah. You will perform a variety of lab tasks including operating HPLCs, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis spectroscopy, with routine assignments and guidance on new tasks.

The position requires diligent record-keeping, adherence to GMP and SOPs, and proficiency with lab instruments. Preferred BS in chemistry-related fields and 1+ year of experience, with a wage range of $20.00–$28.00 per hour and potential bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of laboratory experience.
• Preferred BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in compliance with company policy and the Diagnostics’ Quality System.
• Maintain records per regulatory requirements, GMP and SOPs.
• Manufacture oligonucleotides per batch records and electronic batch records.
• Operate and maintain HPLC, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis spectrometry.
• Handle hazardous chemicals per approved procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
