Qualifications

• Six years of experience as a telecommunications dispatcher in a law enforcement telecommunications system or as a network specialist in a data communications system.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; work independently and solve complex problems; communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the OLETS message switching system and related databases.
• Audit telecommunications procedures and provide technical/administrative support to agencies accessing OLETS; document audit findings.
• Monitor compliance with laws and policies; handle incident reports and system corrections; assist users with information retrieval.
