INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA in Alvin, TX is seeking a Technical Engineer, Olefins to lead process technology for Chocolate Bayou olefins assets, coordinating optimization, capital projects, and long‑term strategy.

You will collaborate with Operations, Process Safety, Reliability, and Environmental teams to assess new technologies, develop project scopes, and drive value while maintaining safety and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering is required.
Ten or more years of engineering experience in petrochemical, refining, chemical manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
Experience with continuous process operations and process troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead olefins process technology initiatives and stewardship.
Evaluate new technologies for hazard potential, reliability, operability and lifecycle value.
Support capital project development, scopes, and execution with cross-functional teams.
Ensure alignment with safety, environmental, and process safety requirements.
