Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA in Alvin, TX is seeking a PP/Utilities Technical Team Lead to drive technical leadership, optimization, and long‑term technology planning for Chocolate Bayou Works.

You will translate data and engineering insight into strategy, partner with Capital Projects and Operations, and lead a small team to improve yield, energy efficiency, and asset utilization while maintaining safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Typically 10 to 15 years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, or large-scale industrial manufacturing environments.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring technical professionals is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the technical team to deliver optimized performance.
• Own and govern CAPEX investment plans for optimization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps and analytical studies.
• Interface with manufacturing, asset, and project teams to translate analysis into decisions.
• Translate technical analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations for leadership.
