This position requires an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a government background investigation and all requisite IT access authorizations prior to performing work. Specific clearance requirements will be confirmed at time of offer. Primary work will be performed at the client site in Washington DC and approved remote/telework locations.

This role serves as an important technical function responsible for the development, engineering, implementation, and operational support of custom identity solutions, integrations, and automation capabilities built on and around the Okta Identity platform across a complex, geographically distributed federal IT environment spanning on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms, hybrid environments, and enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate is a technically proficient and development-focused identity engineer with solid, hands-on experience developing custom Okta integrations, identity automation workflows, API-based identity solutions, and application authentication implementations using Okta platform APIs, SDKs, and developer tools. This individual must possess the technical depth, software development skills, and collaborative mindset required to design and build robust, secure, and maintainable custom identity capabilities that extend and enhance the enterprise Okta platform in support of Government mission requirements and Zero Trust identity objectives.
The Okta Identity Developer (Mid) will serve as a key technical contributor responsible for the design, development, implementation, and operational support of custom identity solutions, integrations, automation workflows, and developer-facing capabilities built on the Okta platform. This individual works closely with the Senior Okta IAM Engineer, security engineers, application developers, DevSecOps engineers, cloud operations teams, and Government stakeholders to design and build custom identity capabilities that address complex integration requirements, automate identity lifecycle processes, extend Okta platform functionality, and accelerate the onboarding of Government applications to the enterprise Okta IAM ecosystem.
Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
